FRP Grating for Jetties, Boardwalks and Pontoons

MaxiGRATE FRP grating is safe and non-slip underfoot, wet or dry, and is UV stable for permanent outdoor use. It comes in standard, mini and micro mesh with a choice of grit surface finishes. It is a direct replacement for rotting timber decking: see no more rotting timber floors and our jetty at Cowes, Phillip Island.

Mini and micro mesh patterns have smaller openings, which suits public areas. We also supply grating designed for sensitive sea-grass areas. All clips and fastenings are 316 stainless steel.

Substructures and Handrails That Will Not Corrode

MaxiSTRUCT structural profiles carry the loads of steel and aluminium at a fraction of the weight, and make a corrosion-resistant substructure under MaxiGRATE decking. A synthetic veil covers every exterior surface for added protection against UV exposure.

MaxiRAIL handrails complete the structure. They are available in any RAL colour and will not rust or need repainting.

Lighter Structures, Simpler Installation

FRP is lightweight, so sections can often be carried into place where access for heavy plant is limited. We cut, machine and assemble components at our Melbourne factory, and larger structures are packed to arrive ready for reassembly on site. If you have drawings, we can build to them. If not, our team can develop the design in-house.
