Shearing Shed Flooring
MaxiGRATE FRP Shearing Shed Flooring is ideal for shearing sheds due to being hard wearing, and quick to install. Being made from fibreglass reinforced Isothalic resin, they will not rust or rot and are not prone to attack from insects.
The hole size is designed to be comfortable and safe for sheep and people to walk on. The surface has a fine grit finish The hole size also allows debris to fall through.
The sheet size is 3593mm x 1203mm (approx. 4.3m2 per sheet), which means a large area can be laid quickly. The grating can also be cut around post and obstacles. The sheets can span up to 700mm, allowing good versatility when installing on existing joists.
Each hole in the grating is 19mm and the thickness is 25mm. The weight of the sheet is 13.1 kg/m2.
The sheets are secured to the joists using M clips (as pictured below).
